Really enjoyed One Dark Night- an actually gripping thriller that never once loses pace or addictive quality.

A minor issue of road rage leads to a kidnap, a fight for survival and a twisty ride towards the truth. Cleverly designed to keep you on the edge of your seat, it’s a one sitting, entertaining and well plotted read.

I liked that it never went over the edge of believable, even during some of its heart stopping moments and Tom Bale has a good eye for creating realistic characters you care about. The bad guys are dastardly but not caricature and have their own layers so overall as well as being a fast paced action thriller it also has plenty of human aspects keeping you immersed in the tale.

Overall very good indeed. I’ll have to check out some of this author’s other books. Terrific storytelling.

Recommended.
