So, when another girl goes missing, she starts to question everything. But how can a mother turn her back on her son? And, if she won’t, then how far will she go to protect him?COULD FORGIVE WHAT HE HAS DONE
Only A Mother is a page turner of a psychological thriller, focusing on one Mother’s belief in her son against all odds – but there is a lot more going on than meets the eye so is her belief founded in maternal love or genuine instinct?
Well this is the question as Craig comes out of prison, is acting oddly and a girl disappears, Erica starts to wonder. The reader starts to wonder too.
Elisabeth Carpenter writes with a really involving and addictive style that keeps you turning those pages. There is a strong emotional core and it is beautifully unpredictable, you are not sure whether Craig is innocent or not until the final reveal.
Overall an excellent read, a genuinely absorbing psychological thriller, exactly as they should be done.
