Well this is the question as Craig comes out of prison, is acting oddly and a girl disappears, Erica starts to wonder. The reader starts to wonder too.
Elisabeth Carpenter writes with a really involving and addictive style that keeps you turning those pages. There is a strong emotional core and it is beautifully unpredictable, you are not sure whether Craig is innocent or not until the final reveal.
Overall an excellent read, a genuinely absorbing psychological thriller, exactly as they should be done.
