Arlo Knott develops the mysterious ability to reverse his last action. It makes him able to experience anything, to charm any woman and impress any friend. His is a life free of mistakes, a life without regret.
But second chances aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. As wonderful as his new life is, a mistake in Arlo’s traumatic childhood still haunts him and the temptation to undo, undo and keep undoing could be too much to resist.
Loved this. Very intelligent speculative fiction with a clever science twist that also hits the mark on all the emotional levels.
If you could rewind and remake every decision what a mess you could make- this is one of the themes within a complex piece of plotting that hits home with authentic characters and way too many layers to describe in a single review. The best I can do is tell you to read it and absorb it for yourselves, it will certainly mess with your head and your heart but you’ll go with it all the way.
One of those impossible to put in any kind of box, one that is beautifully written and emotionally resonant so for all its gorgeous differences it comes highly recommended from me.
