Caraval is over, but perhaps the greatest game of all has begun – with lives, empires, and hearts all at stake. There are no spectators this time: only those who will win, and those who will lose everything. Welcome, welcome to the Caraval’s Finale. All games must come to an end . . .
I’m very sad that this is over. The Caraval series has been an absolute joy to read from the first novel to this beautifully done Finale..
Pure magic on the page, the world of Caraval is filled with both wonder and horror, it is at once an epic love story and a gorgeously sprawling adventure, a tale of family, loss, romance, magic and mayhem..
There’s always a slight concern when you read a last book in a trilogy that somehow the end will disappoint, will not match expectation or excitement levels- not so at all with Finale, which pulls together all the relationships, themes and plot strands into one utterly gripping, erm, Finale…
The Fates are free, Tella and Scarlett must face one more battle, for their hearts and souls and for the empire they are now an indelible part of. Playing Legend’s games thus far may not have prepared them for the greatest game of all..
Honestly I can’t even say enough good things about this story in it’s entirety – it is enchanting, emotionally resonant, vividly beautiful and filled with the most magnificent cast of characters -from sisters Tella and Scarlett, to Legend himself whoever he may be and all those around them.
If you’ve not read these yet do yourself the biggest favour and devour them all. Welcome welcome to Caraval – where nothing is ever quite as it seems.
