Dead To Her was one of my top tips for 2020 when I was lucky enough to get an early review copy last year. It’s out in the US today (UK August) so now seems an apt time to share my feelings about it…
Which were – I LOVED it. I don’t think it’s a huge secret that I’m a Pinborough fan of many years, the reason for that being you simply never know what might pop out of that head of hers and onto the page- but you know it will be brilliantly written pitch perfect- and Dead To Her is no exception.
Darkly delicious, sexy sassy and twisty, this novel immerses you into a world of heat, obsession and deeply rooted human angst, a taste of southern noir you’ll devour in one sitting given half a chance
Gripping from the very first page, the story messes with perception, offers up many gorgeous layers and is just a *tiny* bit bonkers in a way that hooks you in then spits you out the other side, slightly dazed but supremely satisfied. The setting pops, the characters divide and engage and it’s just huge amounts of reading fun.
Don’t miss it!
You can purchase Dead To Her (William Morrow) US version here.
